Es hat doch ein wenig länger gedauert um das Baby wieder zum Funktionieren zu kriegen. Aber zwei Reinstalls des Servers plus zwei Reuploads des gesamten Materials später scheint endlich wieder alles so zu gehen wie es soll. Was nun noch fehlt ist das Finetuning. Es kann also immer noch sein dass die Seite für ein paar Momente weg ist
Nur für den Fall dass ihr euch wundert wo die Downtimes 2 News hin ist, die hatte ich nicht mitgesichert. Dewegen fehlt sie nun natürlich 🙂
What did cause the downtime? I know how annoying that can be. Experienced it myself because my server was hacked one week ago and I didnt have a backup. I was forced to upload the old backup and reconstruct my page through google cache. Really hard. Now I make backups 2 x a week 😀
Yeah, backups are essential. That was not the problem though. I had the dumb idea to create a subdomain for testing purposes. Which didn`t work. And then your backup is of no help neither. So i started to tinker around. And with every step things went worse. At one point i decided to setup the server from scratch. Which made another fun then.
But as you can see, everything is back working now. Phew. And i have finally managed to create my subdomain where i can toy around a bit 🙂

I fear you have to look elsewhere to find your graphics artist. Good places are boards like Polycount or CGTalk. There you meet the experts.
